Mitch Fairchild

     Mitch Fairchild is fan of all types of sports.  Growing up in Luling Texas, his father would take him to see the University of Texas Longhorns play football games at Memorial Stadium in Austin, Astros baseball games and Houston Oilers football games in the Astrodome, and Spurs basketball games in the Hemisphere Arena.  He's seen the CFL San Antonio Texans play Canadian Football in the Alamodome, watched some of the fastest runners in history compete at the Texas Relays and attended many Texas high school football playoff and championship games.

     He played football, basketball and threw shot-put for the mighty Luling Eagles in high school and was recruited to play football by the University of Texas, Texas A&M, the University of Houston, TCU, the University of Arkansas, Southwest Texas State University and the University of Wyoming just to name a few...but chose to go to Blinn Jr. College and party instead.

     It was while he was in his party stage that he met and married his beautiful wife Courtney.  From that blessed union came his 2 lovely daughters Carly and Cassidy.

     Staying competitive is important to Mitch so he stays active by competing in events such as tug-o-war competitions, bowling leagues, softball leagues, poker leagues, flag football competitions, basketball leagues, beach volleyball leagues and many other sporting outlets.
